Dimitrios Tsioumas

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

This cut and color is the  product of the wildly talented Dimitrios, who graced the salon last Sunday to give an advanced class that brought hair stylists together from all over California.  His vision and artistry are breathtaking.  I think this video of his 2011 collection is super fun.  Who is he?  Goldwell International Master, Mizu NYC Creative Color Director and two time winner of the International Color Zoom Challenge.  But what I love most is that he truly wants everyone to learn how to do great hair and takes the time to connect to his students.    It was an honor having him at the salon.

New York City

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Sharon has recently returned from working March 26th and 27th in New York City. Coincidentally, Kristin was on tour and able to make an appointment. The salon is called K’s salon on the Upper West Side and located at 162 West 84th Street. The staff is really friendly and it is a great experience. You can read some Yelp reviews here.  While in the city, Sharon loves to photograph interesting hair and post pictures on Twitter.  To view photos, you can follow salon Tonic on Twitter here.
