Three fabulous days in Brooklyn.  Svenks-Art was the 2011 Sachajuan event were we watched demonstrations and took a cutting class from the founder of Sachajuan, Sacha Mitic.  They key information learned at this event:  Sachajuan leaves the hair light and full.  If you want more volume, use more product.  It will not flake of become sticky.  It is created to produce beautiful, natural looking hair.  See photos of the event here.

Berge, Lesli and Sharon had a New York City slumber party in June in a friends Upper West Side apartment.  Sharon went to work at K’s salon, and Berge and Lesli went to Bumble and bumble University to learn Advanced Color.  What more can three girls ask for than vegan food and swinging on swings in Central Park?  You can see more photos of our trip here and here.

Sharon has recently returned from working March 26th and 27th in New York City. Coincidentally, Kristin was on tour and able to make an appointment. The salon is called K’s salon on the Upper West Side and located at 162 West 84th Street. The staff is really friendly and it is a great experience.
